Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

i have a September 1973 gold century. After it dropped it clouded and before it was blue green. now it has green wax and snot colored water. Could a fade the water and add blue food coloring or would that screw up the density?

I would suggest running it regularly (cycling it) for 6 weeks before any adjustments.

The older american lamps are resilient and bounce back with regular running.

As far as a fade (in sunlight) yes.

Add food coloring. Just a smidge and you should be ok. but some have sugar or other additives in them so be careful what you use.

well i have been cycling it for 2 months

As long as you gave the cycling a try.

then fade and recolor away!

WOO HOO! Yeah, sunbleach the beauty & color away!
