Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hey everybody,

I am looking for a vintage French glitter lamp, from the 1970s/1980s. The exact look of the lamp can be found here  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oMeCn86An5c.

I am wondering if anyone has any information regarding this lamp. I'm looking for manufacturer info, and if anyone has one that they are willing to sell.

I have attached an image of the exact model I'm looking for [silver, metal outside/ blue glitter inside], but any glitter color will do.

Thank you!

Best,

Helen

Manufacture unknown, made in the 70's. If you check eBay France, you can find them there. As a matter of fact, there is one identical to this listed there now:

This same design was later adopted and produced for the U.S. market by Lava Simplex in the 80's (albeit in lesser quality construction/materials) and was sold as a "Continental" in the Gemlite glitter series.

awesomeawesomeawesome thank you so much for the information and the link!!!!!! you have been so helpful!
You're welcome!
im being tempted to buy
That's my lamp! :) I did indeed get it on eBay France. Total was about $110 to get it here.
Also, converting it to US power is really, really easy. :) If you get one and need assistance, I can help.
