What you see is what you get.  The ones like this that I have run hot, and the wax sometimes stays at the top when turned off,  not easy to get going again.

Yea thies lamps are rare but not nessarley expensive and deacent. - I think for the price this is at I will pick it up but it will need work doing to it - probabley a lower wattage bulb and / or dimmer and some filtering on the globe. 

Update - as I post this I have just brought it - pictures and progress of the lamp to follow.
