Old Telstars ... do they come up in a shine?

Can you help me out please?

 

Do the older telstar metal cap / body / legs shine up nicely?

Only i have the chance to buy some at a reasonable price, but i only want to buy if they polish up nicely?

They will polish up nicely but will tarnish again unless you clear coat them. I have been reluctant to clear coat mine so I just polish them every so often and they look fine.

they do polish up very well but dont take to long to loose the shine,

I don't know what polish options you have overseas, but here in the US a polish called Simichrome works very well.
