Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Looking for the CORRECT > "HOW TO" when mixing up Lava fluid

I have 3 lamps ..2 vintage 16" and one 'china lamp'
One of my 16"ers hasn't flowed in ages. Some time ago it had leaked 2/3's of its fluid while being stored in a box. At some point I filled had  it with distilled water which  did nothing of course.
Recently i had been researching online  how i might be able to recreate the fluid.  There are a few different mixes that i have seen posted. I did purchase distilled water and Epsom salts because I've seen those ingredients mentioned quite a bit. THANK GOD  i came across this website before i did anything more. My OOZING FRIENDS-i ask of you...what is the DEFINITIVE  mixture for my lamps?? Please help me

Well the formula is not known, but there are a few substitutes. You can always add fluid from another lamp. Here is a page that has several of my mixing projects.
Hey ,thank you. Yes i know that the fluid is basically a 'secret sauce' to this day. You cant even order replacement fluid. Ill check out what you have created ,,thanks
Well what I am suggesting is that you find another lamp to use as a donor lamp from the same era.

yes a possibility ..ill be looking around for one thx
