Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I have two glitter lamps that are similar. One runs for hours on end, no problems. The one on the right runs, and then after 30 mins. or so, all the glitter sinks down to the bottom. Any idea why? It's been run on a 25W and a 15W bulb. It did get topped off with some fluid from a vintage foreign glitter lamp, but it had this issue before the top off.

Any ideas?

My Frenchy did that. on its own base.. I had it leaning on another when re wiring so watch it while working and it flowed like a champ and no glitter at all settled on bottom... incredible flow.. I will take a look see when I get home to the size bulb I have in that base it likes..  Worth a try eh?

As a rule I never run my glitters more than a few 2 to at very most and not often 5 hrs..

Yes, please let me know! I have a Fantasia glitter lamp that does this, too.
