100 watt Bulb: Clear of Frosted?

Hi,

I just got a discount on 10X R80 100 watt bulbs for 10eur delivered.

The bulbs arrived today, and they're the clear type.

Is it ok to use them on a Lunar and Grande (stock are frosted), and what is the differences with "frosted" one (heating the wax faster, hotter or else) ?

The clear are ok to use - I am not too sure about the difference in the bulbs.
It is suggested to use frosted ones when you can.

I find the clear ones run a little hotter than the frosted.  I use them in my stuborn lamps that like a lot of heat in order to flow.
