Help! - Mathmos Astro Metallic Red

Hi,

I have a metallic red astro which I got years ago and rarely ever use. I am looking to seel it but have no idea if it is worth anything? Someone told me it's a rare one but I don't know much about it. I'd rreally appreciate if anyone could give me an idea if it is worth anything?

If it's clear and in good condition at least £75 plus

It is rair - the metallic's were only made for a short time by Mathmos in the 90's and now there really arn't many metallic's out there let alone good ones.

75 really is a low estermate I would put that at the starting bid - expect it to go for about 150 - 200 quid.

Have you got a picture of it and has it got the original box etc.

haha 200 pound? never!!! i've bought about 25 astro metallics in my life to create lunar, jet bottles etc most of em I bought on ebay. I once bought one for 130 € but that was the max i've seen them go for. usually a clear one reaches 80-110 pound but I got many for around 50.
would help if you still had the box.

Hi there, thanks for the info! I do still have the box although the box is slightly damaged but still has all the original labels on it. The water inside is clear and the lamp still works fine. The base has got a scratch on it but other then that it's in full working order. Thanks again for all the info, really helpful if a little conflicting!
