Does anyone of you have any suggestions about this..
One of my lamps have a non stickable coil and im trying to clean it and putting in back in, but its still not stickable.. Is there a way i can test if the coil is stickable ?

Sounds good! :)
No luck.. It wont attach to either of the coils :(
It warmed up and melted that quickly? do you have pics?
No pics, but im trying it again.. Gonna take some pictures this time..
And yes the goo was melted.. I didnt have that much liquid in it, so i have filled it with liquid now and trying it again..
I should just start all over i think .. This lamp has all the problems you could image a lava lamp can have.. Not sticking to coil, very cloudy and wax sticking to the globe..
I would love to try out a goo kit, but the problem is 1. shipping to denmark is just too expensive.. It costs more than the goo kit it self and 2. i want to make the wax black, and i guess that is quite difficult to make..
But i could also do what i did the last time this happened.. Make a new coil .. That worked back then
And i just took a picture, but keep in mind that this is before the wax is completely melted.. But it looks as if the wax just refuses to have anything to do with the coil hehe
Well if you get a gookit you can make a lot of lamps from one kit so it maybe worth it. Also you can get black, while its running, you have to overdose the dying with all the colors.
You are right .. How is the goo from the gookits ?
I like goo that is not transparent at all.. You know some goo is allmost 100% transparent, some is just slightly and then theres the goo that has that balloon look, which is the one i like the most.. :)
Heres a picture of how it looks now after it has been turned on for a little longer..
I was wondering the same thing. Seems I read that the goo becomes less transparent after running it a few times.

Wow that lamp look stoast anyways lol ! Gookit starts off transparent and eventually turn more solid the longer they run, the lighter colors tend to allow more light to come thru then darker colors do.
The first run, the goo will be transparrent. It looks really cool actually, and from the second run on it will become opaque. All pictured are goo kits.

Looks very nice.. Is there any difference in the green one compared to the others? The wax in that lamp looks more "balloonish" than the others if you know what i mean.. Which is the way i want it :)
