On the left is a red-clear midnight, and on the right is the lamp base that I had originally made for Derek...the one where I learned that spray painting in high humidity makes the paint blister. :p Oopsie. I haven't stripped it yet, but there it is with a gookit in it.

Thanks! :) I've actually decided that I'm going to go ahead and do some more lamps while I wait for my anodizing parts, even though I don't have any more orders for painted bases right now. I'll sell them on ebay, just as an experiment, to see how it goes. I've never sold anything on ebay before!
I made a metallic black/yellow glitter lamp, and one with coke bottle green glitter on a gloss red base. I wanted to make this lamp:
...But the green lava turned out all wrong. :-/ If I can't fix that, I'll try an aztec clone next, I think...metallic bronze base, yellow-orange lava.
Nice! I can't wait to see the rest of the lamps you get to create! :)
