Putting 20 oz lava lite into 1 liter jack danies bottle

I want to have a jack Daniels lava lamp and was planning on buying a 20oz lava lamp from target. The only problem is the 20oz is only about half a liter. Can I just add sme distiller water to make up for the rest of the volume?

Simple answer is no.  But you can buy 2 20 oz lamps and combine them. :)
