I've been a member here for a while, and many here know me as the guy who sells custom columnar lamps, but few know that I'm also an artist. :) I'm trying to build my "fanbase" or whatever, so please visit my facebook artist page! If you like my artwork, please hit the "like" button on the page!

I can picture the "Duke" riding through that art work. Takes me back to New Mexico/Arizona

Cool... I've always seen that one as trees, but I can totally see it as canyons and mesas too, now that you mention it. I love to hear what other people see in my paintings. It bothers some people, but to me, you add to the piece when you show me something new in it. Thanks! :)

I see dawn Tropical Rain forest riverbank...Parrots, Spider Monkeys, Green Iguana's, boa's and all the pretty things !

Was thinking along the same lines. A heavily silted river delta.

My first impression was mangroves along a sandy coastline.  I really like this!

Neither Clint Eastwood nor Chuck Norris would make a pimple on John Wayne's butt.  ;)

(Though I like them both)

Thanks, Keith! Wow...ALL THREE of you guys pretty much nailed my painting technique! I'm not kidding, this is from my artist statement:

"Eventually though, I learned that adding multiple layers of several different colors would cause wholly new patterns to emerge through their interactions, and that it was important to sequence the layers in an order which took into account the color's opacity, paint density, and special features of the paint such as its metallicness and size of its pigment grain. The water carried the pigment like sediment in a river, and deposited it in alluvial fans, or collected and concentrated it in lakes."
