glitterball fluid

hi guys, i have a bottle of mathmos glitterball clear fluid, and was wondering if ordinary mathmos wax will work in this extra thick fluid , or is the aluminum wax that glitterballs come with adifferent type of wax,

normal wax and gliterball fluid do not work together, i put my white wax in the vase, waited for it to set then added the fluid, let it settle for a bit then swith on. after about 20 minutes the whole of the still solid wax rose to the top and stayed there, so it looks like the wax in the glitterballs is somewhat different to normal, as a guess id say different melting tempreture, nevermind it was only a try out
