Just wondering if any of you have done white lava with the goo kit? Is it possible to get white lava with the MT kit or do you just leave the goo "clear" and maybe it goes to white with time?

Not sure what your asking here, but gookit wax is white. It starts off transparent but turns soild after a few runs.
Hello Dr What, (are you the infamous I've heard about?) I'm a new guy to the forum, pardon my goofiness! We'd like to make a clear liquid with white lava lamp.
Yes, the guy at GOO Kits told me the lava is clear and not white. But I've seen pictures of white lava from the MT goo kits. So after a few cycles the clear lava will turn white, is that correct?
I'm also wondering about coloring the goo metallic...
Thanks,
Vince
lol not sure but I am the only Dr. WHAT here so maybe? lol The kit will run clear the first few cycles (maybe like 5 or 6) but after time it'll turn solid white yes that is correct. The metallic goo you can find many thread here on it.
Thanks a billion, yeah we want to try a white lava, so we'll run it a while when the time comes. I'll have to research the metallic, that would be neat to try. I guess ya just squeeze the ink out of sharpies into the lamp and it mixes in with the lava? Thanks again. I'm getting hooked.
yup and its long and boring as all hell. I've looked for bulk ink but so far you just have to squeeze the markers.
Have you had good success with the MT goo kits? Any precautions I should take, going to use them with the 52 oz LL.
Usually its good results once i a while you may get a bad batch of goo which they are usually quick to send you a replacement if that were the case. One thing I always try to recommend when running gookit lamps is use a dimmer. They will run hot but a dimmer usually fixes that.
