I will be interested to know that too.

for which lamp you need a coil?

Jet and Astrobaby for me.

I have some spares, but I'm in the US. As far as I know, the only way to get them is to make them or snag one from another lamp. If you search the forum, there are threads on what kind you should buy to make your own.

Good luck!

Might have something here in my bag of Mathmos goodies :)

Well,

If you finally decide to reply my PM, I might buying you some stuff from your pic (and your Living Jewel if you still got it.)

Your move...

I made one for my lamp few months ago, but it catched rust and broke in half... Too bad nobody knows any "recycling" source, I mean to get the spring out of some broken device or something. Thanks for all replies, it seems this lamp just begun its retirement :)

I've never tried this but I think it could work really well. But you can just buy bracelet making stain steel wire off of eBay or whatever craft store that is near you. You can use a pencil, screw driver end, anything round and close the diameter of a normal coil and wrap it around and around until you have the size you need. Its not expensive either.

well here in washington we have a hardware stoe called McLendon's. best damn hardware stoe I know of. Anyway most hardware stores sell stainless stell springs. The only problem is finding just the right thickness. I've been down this path recently. I recently got some stainless steel mesh much like what gookits come with at McLendons and it works. You can buy some bottles at this link that someone here provided to me, .http://www.sciplus.com/p/LAVA-BOTTLE_46670. They have 2 sizes of bottles and they come with springs/coils.
