Boyfriend picked up this Enchantress (blue with white lava) at a garage sale. I just now got around to heating it up and observing it closely along with my others and I noticed the lava just stays at the bottom. What could be wrong?
Oh, I think never mind ... I see a previous pic I took of it (attached) where the lava seems to be flowing ... maybe I just caught it at a time in resting phase. I'll have to observe it again.

And I think it's yellow lava, not white. Have to focus.
If you take out the globe when it's cold, you can see the lava color. I bet it's white, but likely has been a little used over the years, so it may seem off-white or tan.
Just give it time - it'll flow!
Thanks Erin. Yes, it just went from elongated "gak" to spheres. So I guess it's okay. Seemed a slow to get interesting. I would imagine the temperature in the room with air conditioning and all makes it take longer to start percolating. I'm relieved because I thought Enchantress was one of the better ones and was worried at first.
Now I don't have to worry if I want to sell it.
They can take a few runs to break back in, if they haven't been run in awhile.
Thank you Erin!! Though it does seem a bit "lethargic" compared to the Midnight I have (the same design, as I'm sure you know) except all black), and also the Midnight Aristocrat that I have (this one really kicks up).
