Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I thought I'd start a post on neat / rare eBay lava and glitter sales. Sometimes it's nice to remember the sale of a really cool or hardly-seen item.

Please only post completed/closed eBay auctions - please don't post any open sales!

I'll start off with the Princess wall model lava that sold tonight. Anyone here get this? :)

If you post to this thread with a completed auction, please try to include a screen shot, not a link. After so many months eBay removes auctions and for historical purposes, it'd be nice to see what sold.

Oh, but it did get sweeter now didn't it?  ;-)

I don't think this deal could of gotten any sweeter :)

Oooops, sorry... I forgot the other two.  Yellow and green Fluidiums in a follow up auction made it a Fluidium hat trick.  He shoots, he scores!!!!!

You don't see Fluidiums on US eBay too often, especially ones that are wired for the US.  Auction is bizarre, but this was for an orange Fluidium at $100 + free ship.

Well they are REAL lamps :-)

Wow really??? Thanks for your insight. I never would have thunk it. It always seemed they were too good to be true. All the clamoring to get the hands on. Always just out of reach. Realization has finally presented itself. ♥

I saw that earlier, Critter, and dang near choked.   LOL   I would love to know what amounts those two offers are.

I won't post the link, since this one is current too, but there is a silver base/capped Wizzie with errrr "blue glitter" in  it........if there's blue glitter in it, it's pulled a Houdini.

Here is a neat, or rather absurd, auction......it is current by the way. Don't all of you rush to buy it at once.

Ok all joking aside... thank you Jim for sharing your special find on eBay with me. Working out the timing perfectly in direct communication with the seller to score all 3 lamps in 2 separate BIN auctions. Done in such stealthy fashion ;)

Thanks also in taking the time to bid for me on the yellow and green Fludiums. And attending to all the details to "seal the deal" since I was at work. That was above and beyond and very much appreciated.

And yes, very rare auction. ♥ Pay it forward ♥

Noticed this last night and thought WTF! Added it to my watch list just to see if it sells.......

I did the same thing, Marco!  ;-))   We'll see.........

It was truly my pleasure Deb.  I went into the first auction with the hopes of snagging the orange Fluidium.  The seller had listed a single auction, indicated she had the three colors, was asking $100/lamp and offered a BIN of $100. Not one to take advantage of a newbie seller, I asked about the orange version, locked it in and also pointed out the error she made in listing the lamps.  Took the BIN which ended the auction and completely hid the presence of the additional two Fluidiums from the rest of you.  But then I got to thinking...

These other Fluidiums needed to go to an Oozing Gooer so I told the seller I may be able to line up a buyer.  I knew you really wanted one and knew you had been disappointed and disheartened in previous efforts to get one (especially an Opal).  Karma is a boomerang so I saw an opportunity to right the wrong that was done to you on your other attempts to snag the elusive Fluidium.

Now the birds are chirping, church bells are ringing and all is well with the world.  :-)

Seller doesn't seem to be too interested in actually selling it; there were 4 offers all expired; didn't even take the time to decline them........
