was at Spencer's and found this on the display. sales guy said it was a demo and that they didnt have that for sale yet but he eventually let me buy it at a 20% discount. dunno if he was right about it being a new model not yet for sale or not but i really like it in this color combo. i dont know anything about these other than i have a small blue white one i found at target awhile ago.

Is that as un-cloudy and nicely-blobbing as it appears??
yes clear as can be and wonderful flow. too bad the 16" bottle wont fit the base correctly... would be nice to swap out
Just hit my local (Seattle-area) Spender Gifts. They had these 32oz. Clearviews for sale, and they looked GREAT! One of the employees had been with Spencers for a very long time, and we chatted about the quality issues. As much as I've been saying, ever since Lava claimed they were fixing things and Mathmos fans claimed Lava was dead forever, that they CAN bounce back, I haven't seen much proof. Until these guys. Had a friend with me who's not a collector, and even she commented on how good they looked!
They had two colors on display. The one pictured above is yellow/purple I think, though functionally it looks more like red/red (but was nice and bright) with some golden orange near the bottom. It came in a gloss purple base. The other was red/clear in a metallic red base. Stellar flow and crystal-clear liquid! I'll be buyin' me one of these soon!!
They also had the black/orange and black/green in boxes; the employee and I agreed on how poorly dark black/orange was, but she hadn't seen black/green running... however, they had another 52oz.color that WAS on display: blue/pink. It was quite dark, the way the old red/blue was dark, but the colors did pop nicely. The blue was a glowing cobalt color. I think this was too dark to photograph well, but in a dark room it'd look good.
Speaking of red/blue, has this been out for a while, or is it new? They also had a red/blue 52oz. on display, and it was noticeably brighter than the 90s red/blue, which I have already.
Let's see some more photos people. If they look good enough I will go buy a couple and do a review.
I'll try to go take some. I figure the black/green will be as troublingly dark as the black/orange. The red/blue and blue/pink I saw had no foggy glass and only a few tiny glass bubbles.
