hey yall, can i take out the contents of my century lava lamp wich has damaged wax and replace the entire contents with the contents of a new lamp in order to keep my original globe. do i replace the coil too with the new one? should i wash the old one out with soap? i want to buy a new 52 oz and uncap it and pour the entire contents into the old globe. what should i do?

ok so i got a new globe from lavaworld black wax/clear fluid. when you say save the fluid from the old globe do you mean the clear liquid? cause its garbage. cant i put the new fluid and wax into the old globe?
