I wonder if you can contact LL and purchase one from them? I have always wondered if you could get replacement caps through them.

this works great. fernco qwik cap 2" from home depot. the hose clamp is optional. mine works fine without it.
Hmm, interesting ideas. I definitely like Bill's acrylic cork and silicone for the sleek finish in comparison to that rubber lid with a clamp, but you cant beat the ease to open that clamp/lid.
THANK YOU !! you guys rock !!! I was so freaked out when i saw it ! I like both ideas the flat acrylic glued with silicone and i can still use my metal cap that is in great shape . or the black quik cap is nice too !!
