What?  I thought you already had them???   EGAD, if they arrive frozen, obviously let them sit until they thaw before you do anything to them.   I think someone here got a frozen Colossus.  There's pics on that old Colossus thread.  I can't remember if all was well after they thawed out or not, or who it was.

Its ok cuz if they are bad then I know LL will make it right eventually

They would, Jo, and on the bright side of a potentially bad scenario, you would have two more Grandes to mod.

Just let them come up to room temperature before you turn them on, they should be fine.  As long as the glass doesn't crack before you get them.

There's definitely less wax and higher bulb sockets in this new batch of Grandes. And the p/y grande I got is crystal clear. I haven't run any of them yet but I do plan on dying the pink grande purple. The new green grande is likely going to work with me. I won't be able to do accurate comparisons between the old & new green Grandes because of the temp differences between home & office but I am glad the bulb in the new ones is right up almost touching the globe because it's stupid-cold in my office. The difference is about an inch; same as using a socket extender. Can't wait to see them run!

The Second Generation Green Neon Heritage Grande (2GGNHG) is in the green jelly stage here at work. I wish the wax would stay transparent!!! And I honestly haven't noticed the smaller amount of wax compared to the Fist Gen. It's flowing beautifully!

WOW, Ben, I love that transparent wax too!   That is just beautiful, congrats!!

I made a blue transparent that seems to be staying transparent . Its only a 20 oz as a tester but it seems to be holding its own . If i had another empty 52 id try the larger size

How did you make it stay transparent?  I have an empty 52oz that I'm about to attempt a goo kit on.

Brad, the cap codes are the same on both Centuries.

So I guess its not a different batch for that series yet.  This 2nd one definitely is way better than the 1st was though.  Wax still cools in a dome though, but I don't really care as long as it flows.  Its still not as good as my 90's era Century, but it is better than the $24.99 Spencers Premiers I bought a few months back.  I wonder why they changed the Grandes.  Ben how long did that new Grande take to start flowing?

2nd run tonight both Grande 2.0 flipped the coils... beautifully spiking thou.   they spiked well ahead of the other Grande.  when flowing this morning (i let them run all night) you can't tell that there is less goo... makes me wonder about that.  maybe the goo is more dense cool than the earlier version formula??
