Liquid Looks Low on Ebay Lamp Purchase

I apologize if this is not in the right place, but wasn't sure whether it would be a problem or not?? So I just landed the blue swirl lamp on ebay. In the one pic where it is flowing it looks fine at the top. When it is standing still in the pic and not flowing and cool, the liquid looks low. Do you think this will be a problem. I have saw some lamps on ebay that do have a lower liquid in them then others. I hope it's not going to be a problem. They have a green swirl up for grabs also, but the liquid looks ok in that one.

Looks ok to me...most of my 32oz ones are about the same when cold. It looked like it was was up to the bottom of the top cap when it was hot. It won't affect the flow any.

Jeff, I wrote to her and she said the same thing. She made me feel better when she said she had a nice collection of lamps herself, so I felt she is a fellow goo head, lol!! She said that I would be happy, don't worry. also, she said she has seen some really full, some not so much. I've noticed that with some of the 90's lamps.

Its slightly low but don't worry, it will flow fine and look normal when flowing

If you REALLY want to change it then I am sure just a bit of DI water to top it up will sort it out but I wouldn't change it.

Thanks Tim, I get it the 3rd so I will get it gooing and take pics!! I haven't posted many pics. Honestly, I'm kind of embarassed with all the member's cool lamps on here and my meager collection, lol!! I figure i'll wait until I get a few more, throw some vintage's in there, then well.....pictures to follow....

It is on the lower side...but I agree with Tim it's not enough to bother with popping the cap....I have several that are that low or even a bit lower yet. I have at least 2 that don't come to the top of the decorative cap even after being on for 8 hrs but I'm not going to open them until they get down to where its at least 1/2 to 1 inch below that cap when its on...then I might top them off. But its more of a hassle opening and recapping its not worth it for that little space.
