how to repair very clouldy mathmos astro baby glitterball.

Hi guys. I have a silver metalic glitterball. It is very clouldy and can hardly see the lava. I have fixed normal mathmos lava lamps before with water and epsom salts but the liquid in the glitterball is very think like gel. Is it supose to be like that? Is it possible to repiar? Thanks Guys

is there anyway to replace the thicker liquid? It really looks a mess. The lava hardly moves as well even when very hot

i replaced mine with straight propylene glycol- 99% pure. Bought it from ebay.

worked brilliantly
