Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hi I'm new here, I came here for advice about building my new lava lamp after my old one stopped working. It was a complete success, $6.22 and some tinkering later, this was the result.

Yep thats the one, my grandmother got it for me when I was ten, she's awesome. The only annoying thing is the tiny little globe it takes, I feel the 15 watt globe might be making the lamp a bit underpowered.
is that the 'white trash lava lamp' receipe?

looks like you got a good result with it!
Its white trash using baby oil, methylated spirits and mineral turpentine.
it looks very soothing, there is something almost ephemeral about it. like the ghost or trace of lava. very pure & lovely.
Nice job!
I love it! Fantastic job
