Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I own my share of china lamps (and a good, non-defective one is really hard to come by), and one Is a 52 oz. Blue liquid "White" Lava (I guess is supposed to be white). It's okay but there's this ugly haze ring around the base of the globe Here's Some Pictures. Does anybody know how to get rid of this?

I noticed that too, it just their cheap shitty formula.

well mine is an old one it doesnt have a plastic stand on the bottom like the new ones
Yeah, I would personally rather wait for it to heat up longer and have it flow better for a longer time than not. otherwise you have to get a dimmer or something, which I think always makes the colours not quite as vibrant.
