Comment by VOXul on April 9, 2015 at 11:36am: I saw that undercarriage shot too and felt that the first thing I need to do is swap the electrical tape lead for a standard wire nut Once I get a pair of pliers at the office I will un-crimp the compression nut too and put the same wire nut on the other lead. This thing runs beautifully on a slightly larger 25w bulb compared to the smaller 30w it came it. Again, contender for top lamp right here!

Seller did not make clear who rewired it and I wasn't about to pay 56 bucks or whatever. I would rather have a huge lamp. Someday I'll go to England and buy a brand new one myself. Glad you got it!! I would rather have vintage Americana :-)

Been busy helping my best friend due to the fact that she doesn't have her truck anymore so a few times a week I take her around shopping and what not....other nights I just zone out on the goo!!!! lol!!!

Stopped by the light bulb nerds dream store at lunch and picked up a 25w version (runs a 30w) hoping it would run it. Ends up running it like a dream, after it is fully heated gets all drippy, love it!!
