1st lava lamp only making one wax bubble.

So my first lava lamp ever I got it 07, has been acting strange lately. I've just recently started using it again because originally I only had it running for a year before the bulb ran out and I couldn't find another. It has just been sitting on my shelf since 07... gathering dust. It still works after all this time, but with a minor, mane fixable problem. It only produces one wax bubble at a time. Is there any way to fix this or should I be grateful it lasted this long? Thanks!

Sad to say but that looks like typical china made flow.  If your lamp was new in 07 it was china made.
