Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I found a Giant. It's an 02, faded to clear liquid, missing the cover cap. It's priced at $65. I wrote down an offer for $50 (due to the missing cap), it's in antique mall and the owner is going to contact the dealer. What's a reasonable price? And for that matter, how hard will it be for me to get hold of a Grande cap I can paint black?

not sure on a good price for the lamp, but lava lite sells grande caps at $5 ea.  i purchased mine by calling susan.

Thanks!

Id say for the globe alone its definitely worth it, granted that the wax isn't fried.

Proper wattage on a Giant is what, 60? 75? 100?

The proper bulb is a 100W R20 flood.

Thanks. Bet that'll be hard to locate in a local shop...

$50 or $65 sounds like a damn good price to me! I'd get it if I were you!
