Did LL EVER make????

So I've REALLY been wanting a 52 oz black lava/orange liquid lamp for like 3 Halloweens now. One PROBLEM, I went to spencer's last year and the 3 they had were full of some UFO (Unidentified Floating Objects) that looked like white fluff and some sort of shiny metal....don't ask....anyway, aside from the UFO's and the poor flow i'm most def gonna get, did they ever make this combo in a usa manufactured lamp? I don't think they did in a 52. I'm thinking possibly in a 32 oz? but maybe not even. Anyway, I guess if not, then I have to goo kit my own. I guess it's time to order me some black candle wax dye and a quart of goo!!!

P.S. But was really wondering because aside from it being a dark lamp (must use with backlighting or daytime lamp) the combo is really super cool!!!

They did not make this in US formula unfortunately.

I had three of the China orange/black 52oz. and I returned all three. Or two. I had at least two of them...

Not sure if I am alone on this one, but I bought an orange/black as soon as they came out and its a dynamite lamp. That first initial batch may have been the one and only good batch to be produced.

Carol. If you can find a dark blue or dark purple and clear 52oz American made bottle and dye the fluid bright orange you will duplicate the bottle with great flow to boot.

I am with Jim on this one. The first run of these lamps was great. My only complaint is the obvious that it is best displayed with some sort of back lighting because the flow is difficult to see. But, I bring mine out around Halloween all the same. :)

Yep guys, my choices are either goo kit one, or try to find a dark enough blue to mod. I really think looking for a first run orange/black even on ebay is going to be a needle in a haystack, especially around Halloween. Here's what I WAS thinking though:

Spencer's has those wizzie poor flowing lava lamps cheap: score a black wizze for the base and globe: dump and run, kit orange and black with a black wizzie base for Halloween!!!!!

Erin, that's exactly my dilemma.....don't want one of the older ones that Spencer's has...even if they still have them..
