Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Can grab a black finish Excalibur for $30 but it would be a drive... trying to determine if it is worth my time.

What "is" it worth do you think?

As always, any and all input is appreciated.

I bought one for $100 but it was silver. How much is your time worth to you? $30 is a great price. Driving for what $15hr? Almost $70 for 5hrs. Hopefully you wont have to drive that far.

Thanks Chow... you hit the nail on the head as I am constantly trying to weigh the cost of my time versus saving money on the price of an item.

It may or may not operate correctly and round trip is 3 hours not counting the unforeseen road construction that has started here in Michigan.  I work 10 - 12 hours a day so I don't have much time in reality.

Again, appreciate the sanity check.

It also comes down to how much you want the lamp personally. If you want it then go get it as it is a good price, but I would also ask what condition its in as well. You don't want to put in all the effort to find that its going to take a lot to sort out or that it just wasent worth it in the first place.
