After 40 years of pampered ownership, I cracked the plastic screw cap on my Model 100 Century.
Does anyone know where to buy one?
First Christmas since 1976 that I cant use my red Lava Lite.
I'd also like some advice about replacing the 1" of liquid that has evaporated.

You will have a hard time finding a cap for sale. Your best bet is to repair and repaint the cap you have. That's what I had to do (search threads for my user name). For the liquid, just top it off with a little distilled water. The small amount you need to add shouldn't affect the performance of the lamp.
"Hard time" for sure. That's why I turned to Oozing goo. I'm currently negotiating with a consignment shop to sell me a non-functioning globe that has a good cap. Wish me luck! Any suggestions how to make it easier to unscrew the cap that's been on there for 40 years? Screw off hot or cold? I plan on using a little of the liquid from that globe to replace mine that's lost.
Thanks for responding. I miss my lava.

Your plan is probably about the best solution!
Do not use any utensils/tools to get the lid off, except for maybe a non-slip pad or material. Just try twisting the top off, if that doesn't work you can try heating the top with a blow dryer for a couple of minutes. At first it will feel like it will never come off but it shouldn't be too hard really. The O-ring in the replacement lid should stay in place when you remove it, but check to make sure that it is fully seated in the groove of the lid before installing on your globe

Thanks Keith. Judging from the number of posts on this site with your name next to it, I trust your advice.
I successfully negotiated the purchase of the globe and they're shipping it now.
I have a few different non slip pads designed for removing lids so I'll try that and a little blow dryer heat if its stubborn and follow your advice on ensuring the proper seating of the O-Ring.
Hopefully I'll be able to send a photo of the completed project by next week.
Thanks
Dean
