Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Just mixed up my first batch

Strangely, it doesn't smell like the gookits.. I wonder what they are adding to the wax if they aren't using perc? I tried researching a heavy mineral oil.. not seeing anything. Any ideas?

I'm guessing they are using carbon tetrachloride, but I don't know for sure yet. Got some on the way.
