 Hey everyone Captn Johnny here . Hows every one been doing ? Its been a while since I have been on here . I have still been collecting and haven't stopped since my last post . ( ya I got a few more .... ) any ways I got a few I have been wanting to goo kit , been talking about it for a while now . So here I am ... and I couldn't find anything recent on goo kits . are they still available and does anyone have a link ? thanks for your time . Captn Johnny

I ordered one about 2 weeks ago and still haven't seen anything with regards to a shipping notice. I contacted them at the end of last week via email and was assured it would ship on Monday and would receive a shipping confirmation. Still waiting but I'm about to give up.

I have had that issue every time. On average it has taken about 3 to 4 weeks for my order to arrive. Usually at least two weeks minimum to ship out. I placed an order a week ago and haven't heard anything. It's the only place you will order from these days that can't give you an accurate shipping date. Normally I call them and bug them every couple of days. It probably doesn't help but it kinda gives a peace of mind just to speak to someone. The last two orders shipped on a Friday, therefore just sat around all weekend and then still took a week to arrive and everything was melted because of the heat. It really only effected the dye and they did fix the problem but it still took another month to get replacement dye.

Basically that was a long rant about how you will be waiting a long time for your order. Haha

Have you ever tried to make you're own goo? I found this formula online:

It just says to melt 2/3 cups of candle wax, add 1/3 cup of Perchloroethylene and mix well with a wooden spoon for 5 minutes.

Looks like you can get 4oz of for $16 (including shipping)  from Amazon

Maybe I will get all mad scientist and make my own.

thanks for linking that up.  the lava in the pic looks a bit different than the ones I have.  more transparent.

what might you use for coloring the wax?  and more opaque? if anyone has any ideas

 I don't think this is the same place I looked at a few years ago . I remember seeing more colors and I remember someone on here that did a kit with a metallic metal looking goo that was incredible looking and I don't see that color option at all. anyone recall seeing that lamp or who done it ?

That's the same company I'm pretty sure. I saw those pictures recently on someone who works for the companys pictures. I just don't think they offer that stuff anymore. I think they have recently gone through new ownership and stuff according to my research.
