Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Hey everybody. In the mid 2000's I bought 3 of these little lava lamps that stand 10.5" tall. I wanted to later buy a fourth but nobody seemed to know about them. I think I bought them from a website called simply70s.com. Anybody know anything about these lamps?

A picture tells a thousand words :-)

Post a picture and it is likely that someone here will know.

They look exactly like a 11.5" lava lamp.

I think these are 8 oz globes. They were available for a few year from about 2010.  Lots of problems with Lava lamps then with poor flow and cloudiness.  Typically with lava lamps, the smaller the globe the more problems with flow.  Here is are examples

Those are the ones! Mine work great, though.

I just recently found 2 of mine as well, and love them. Work pretty well overall. Have a pink / pink from 2007 and is stamped in the base on label. And a black / clear (cap says 090503) maybe 2009, but that one is hazy.

Thought you might be interested in this, the lamps in the outlined area all were available in the 10 inch size.  Looks like their model numbers all started with "17"

unmarked copy

That's cool, thanks. I wonder what year this is from.

Is that yours? It looks like mine!

10.5" lavas.

Anybody out there who wants to get small $... let me know.

and thank you, Keith.

Not mine.  I have a couple but I don't use them.  Not even sure where they're at now

offer still stands.

Lava-lite called the 10 inch lavas “accent lamps” and sold in pairs in this box.  You can still find these pretty frequently at tag sales and goodwills.
