You probably need a wattage converter. The wattage in Europe and France are different.
Check to see what your power adapter says. I believe the Tuba lamps use a low voltage converter. Do you have a pic of your converter? You might not have the original with a used lamp.
Ha! Brain fart. I don't live in Europe. I had googled the voltage in France and it said 230 and I knew my Mathmos lamps were 220. I just didn't think much past that... YO, SORRY!

Thanks everybody, that's very cool to have answers, I will post tomorrow yhe converter
Another bad thing is what to do when your inside battery of your TUMBLER or ADUKI NI don't work where they are no plug ?
Nothing I guess
Thanks and Hello to Great Britain
I have to say too that my others MATHMOS items work without wattage converter .... Weird :)
Hi Sam I am,
As suggested above, there is no need for a voltage converter. Just a standard travel adaptor like this: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B000LAS28G/ref=asc_df_B000LAS28G5816175...
If not working it will be the bulb, or possibly the 3 amp fuse in the English plug: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Mains-Fuses-equivalent-%C2%A30-09-Product/...
Finally, it could be the wiring on the bulb holder, but very unlikely (unless it's an older Crestworth lamp).
Tumbler battery: https://www.amazon.co.uk/CP300H-Sockets-Mathmos-Tumbler-Battery/dp/...
Aduki: This power supply might fit? http://www.mathmos.com/power-Supply-Unit-PSU-.html You'll need to email Mathmos to confirm though: http://www.mathmos.com/contact-mathmos.html
Thank you for your answer, the converter is ok said to me MATHMOS but it still doesn't work
