Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Does anyone have some ideas on how to dissolve/reincorporate the little blobs of wax? This is a lava lite 90’s model

How long have these lamps been run? Almost all my 90s lamps have these right after the "little blob" phase and they usually get reincorporated after an hour or so in full flow. Anything else that remains is also dissolved back into the main wax during cool down. It seems like a normal occurrence and I wouldn't mess with the lamp. If it's really bugging you, maybe someone else has ideas?

Looks like someone shook it. When wax gets that tiny its hard to break the surface tension, therefore it will not reintegrate.
