Mine's all set up.  I prefer a hidden wire as well.

I ordered some more bottles for my Neo lamp.  Had them shipped by forward2me and the package arrived completely wet inside a bag full of liquid.  (Definitely not a good sign!)

One bottle was unbroken, but I want to be sure I can still use it.  The wax isn't settled at the bottom like with my first purchase.  Can anyone tell me from the picture if this looks OK - or is this one also a loss?

Doesn't look like you lost too much fluid

It can be replaced with distilled water without issue but I would only do that if you still see a water line once it heats up with the cap on.

Twist it tight, and run it and see what happens,

it may take longer for the wax to melt, but it will eventually.

Yeah I think it's a goner.  Put it in my lamp and turned it on.  It's a cloudy mess.  Looks like this delivery was a total loss.

You can try this:

1) cycle the lamp 5 on 3 off with cheap lamp cycle timer for a day or 2

if that doesn't clear it,

Try This 

2) 

OPEN the cap

Put a piece of aluminum foil over the top to protect the contents for hair, dust, etc...

Put it in a pot of boiling water that has the heat turned down to simmer

SLOWLY let it heat up until all the goo is floating to the top

Shut off the heat and walk away until morning

Try it then

Particulates  of wax will hopefully adhere together from the heat

this also work for getting pesky bubble out of it
