What is up with the market on the Bones (Icon)?!

I’m in total disbelief on this. Of course this is the only icon I don’t have and have been waiting to find in good shape with a box. Guess I’ll die never obtaining it, haha!

Well it is getting close to Halloween and there appears to be a few buyers that really want a Bones lamp currently - lol
I am certain that if your patient you will find one on Ebay after Halloween for much less.
I had to pay $400 ( years ago ) to obtain my Snowman Icon with box!
Surprised to hear that Bones is the only Icon that you do not have as some other Icons are considerably harder to find.
Good luck completing your Icon collection - it took me about 7 years and a fair amount of effort/money to do so!

Not sure why the surprise?  Have you seen the trend on all the lamps?  Rockets starting at 150-250, icons 150 and up, a torchiere floor lamp for between 600-1200 bones.  Fiber optics the same.  Just saw a spray, just the spray go for 460 bones.The prices are moving up for sure!

I’ve been watching for many years Now and no Bones with a box in good shape. I did pay $400 myself for Lavalien many years ago. Nice (complete) collection you have there btw. I should have bought bones when it was still in stores online. It’s funny, when all the other series 1 icons sold out, Bones was still in stock for some time after that and I didn’t pull the trigger. I just want it to complete series 1, but over $500 is a hard pass for me.

Well I’ve closely watched prices for many many years and over $400 for an icon, Bones in particular is a surprise actually. Yeah, the rocket thing started after one sale on eBay I noticed a while back. That seems like a false flag/bubble to me, but yeah everytime I see those listed now, they’re asking way too high and in that range even without boxes. I would like some more black rockets (for custom painting), but would never pay more than $100 all in shipping included. The 70s Saturna too has been very high and rare in my experience. I finally got one of those that didn’t look like crap recently. Oh well, I guess you can’t have everything.

Ouch, just picked up alien for 20 bucks in great condition!  As well as, Nightmare for 125 buck from collector.  Deals to be had out there, just have to stay vigilant.
