Yeah, this is the second go around. Pretty sad people want a premium for something that does not warrant such a price. Another thing I am seeing a lot of are people shipping media mail and parcel post. They must think people are idiots. Media mail is reserved for MEDIA - film, movies, dvd, books, magazines etc etc. NOT lava lamps. Parcel post is a joke. No offense to anyone that uses it but 7-10 days? I have enough trouble trusting the USPS with an item that is PRIORITY let alone Parcel Post. Ugh. Then the sellers charge PRIORITY RATES for Parcel Post shipping. Then it seems they double that rate for Priority!! Talk about terrible.

Priority Shipping a lava lamp to most US states = $15 bux. I have not tried, but I think you can pack it in a flat rate box too and ship it for $13 bux. Would actually be better all tightly packed in a smaller box too instead of a big one.

It's getting to be bad. Most times, not worth it anymore.
