Our sub-division has an annual garage sale sometime near the Memorial Day holiday. There is a good chance I will be selling quite a few lava lamps. More details to come on the actual garage sale dates and my location (Far North Suburbs near Great America). Shoot me a PM if you have any questions.

So close to seven years ago, I has posted on Oozing Goo about a good buddy and fellow Oozing Goo member being booted from his apartment - Masive Lot of Lava Goodies. 

Fast forward to the present.... some lamps were sold, but I still have the majority of them. I have been given the green light tio include these lamps in the garage sale too! 

Please be aware that not all of these lamps may be available and this is only a portion of his collection. Bear with me on the list; its overly detailed as I'm a data analyst by trade and this is just how I roll. There is some disarray in the list; Patrick is a city dweller, they were converting his apartment complex into condos and he had to move and move quickly. So you may see mention of a tube containing an empty 52 ounce screw top globe with a coil and cap. The matching base is likely here as well. We just couldn't mate everything up as we had to get the hell out of dodge.

My advice it to use this list to get a rough idea, a scope of what is in his collection. He also has a large number of lamps at a separate location. We will be chatting in the upcoming days and I will see if he plans to bring them over.

Its official! Our annual sub-division garage sale is a go! The dates will be Friday, May 28th - Saturday, May 29th; hours are 8:00am - 4:00pm both days. Please shoot me a DM if interested in attending and I will provide the address. 

Considering that some may travel some distance to get here, I will be happy to discuss a sale via DM and reserve the lamp(s) for you. Don't want folks disappointed if the lamp you covet is snatched up by another person.

I will also happily let folks into our home to see lamps that aren't in the garage. I am planning on selling some primo lamps, including potentially a pair of Fantasia Sunbursts.

To everyone who came out this weekend and graced me with your fun stories, passion for lava and fun loving spirit, I can't thank you enough. This was not just about selling some lamps, this was much larger. This was about making some new friends. I hope you got a sense that I was enjoying myself, because I truly was. This was a ton of work to put together and I have absolutely zero regrets. I wish we had better weather on Friday, but I literally couldn't have scripted this event any better. This wasn't work, this was fun and I have all of you to thank for this!
