Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I've been searching this forum and google to try and get a plug in dimmer for my lava lamp which is getting hot too quickly. However I can only seem to find them in the uk and America. None in Australia. Besides Ikea which is 500 km's away and doesn't deliver.

Has anyone ever got one here?

Thanks very much in advance.

Hi there, I tried to find one myself last year and had no luck but don't worry, help is at hand! Check this out:

I got one of these last year and I use it on my grande - it works a treat and I now run all my lamps on dimmers from these guys. They are in New Zealand but the plug and voltage are all the same - I've had no trouble what-so-ever. Super fast service and reliable. I also got a remote control dimmer system from them. I can run up to 6 separate dimmers from the one control unit and there is a "master off" switch for fast shut down at the end of the night (just turn your power point off too) - love it!

They come from a NZ electronics shop and you'll probably end up dealing with Paul - great guy and great communications. Let us know how you go,

Cheers Rod
Thanks very much Reszound. I'll look into getting one from him
