A total solar eclipse on April 8th!

Any gooheads here planning to see the eclipse that's happening on the 8th? I've already bought some special glasses, so I'll be able to see this once in a lifetime event!

Sadly, we won’t be able to see it here in Europe (as far as I know anyway).

I shall have to dig out my Mathmos Solar Eclipse, plug it in and look at that instead.

It was actually pretty neat! The sky didn't go completely dark on my end like I predicted it to; I was *just* out of the path of totality, but the sky did go this dark dreamlike grey for about 10 minutes and the air got super chilly. Still just glad I got to witness a once in a lifetime moment like that!
