Lava Lite Hyper-Rare Double Play Lamps For Sale for the right price.

Someone here was looking to purchase a DoublePLay Lava Lite Lava Lamp.  I replied letting the member know I have two for sale for the right price.  See photos.  One of the caps has two small dents and one of the caps has one small dent which must have happened when they were factory packaged and does not affect the visual appeal of these rare lamps. I only plugged the lamps in one time then repacked and placed in my collection of lamps - they are like NEW in excellent condition. Wax is clear as should be. I took one photo of the lamps out of their containers and one of the cap with the two bubble like dents. For those colectors who are not familiar with these gems there is a core in the middle of the lamp that has wax then filled with agenta colored liquid and silver glitter.  For sale for the right price. Quick update - one lamp has been sold and I received an offer from another member who I accepted then the member never replied or paid for the lamp so the second is up for grabs.  I was sent request to purchase from another member earlier today if after receiving this members offer I accept... I will update this listing as as both lamps sold.  I will then make a donation to this site for allowing me to post lamps for sale as I always.  I think it's fair to reward the sites owner since she has to pay for the site to run.

Members - the two lamps I had for sale sold immediately after posting to the same buyer who made a reasonable offer and I'm paying for shipping since the lamps are going to someone I know will cherish them as I have when I added them to my collection. Thanks to Oozing Goo once again for allowing me to post.  As soon as lamps arrive at the sellers location and buyer sends me notice of safe arrival...I will glaldy make a donation of 5% of the total sale to this site.

That's much appreciated. This site costs about $400 a year to host. Every now and then I have a donation come my way, but I'm usually paying the vast majority of the bill.

You should do a membership drive to help pay for this site.  I would suggest giving away a lamp and sell tickets for 5.00 a piece then draw a name and the winner gets the lamp. I'd be willing to buy a ticket for a chance to win. I'm sure others would be too and it's for a good cause.  I'm sure you have a lamp you can give away or better yet how about giving away a custom oozing goo t-shirt. Just the words oozing goo in a dripping motif on the front of a black t-shirt using the color Chartreuse would rock. I bet a member can draw you the logo or two for free then post the different designs here and let the members decide which is the ooziest design...you can then get an online print company to stencil it on cheap.  I'm a marketing specialist and know because I use such companies for the company I represent for hats-t-shirts-polo shirts etc.  You can have several printed and sell on this site to help raise funds.

Thanks for the donations guys and I'm glad you both got what you wanted out of your trade. I might do more to raise funds for the site at some point, but right now I don't really have the time. Between my job, the upcoming wax kit release, and other hobbies I don't have much free time.

Autumn - even when Mark owned the site whenever I sold a lamp I always made a donation.  I think it's fair since you do pay for the site.  Thanks Brent for also making a donation - greatly appreciated.
