Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

Advice on re-sealing a Grande.

Anyone know the best way to re-seal a Grande? I have put the plunger back in and the cap back on. I was just wondering if I should put Krazy Glue around the edges of the plunger or somethin. When its been turned on a while the heat makes the plunger push itself out a bit but not totally. Thanks
