Mathmos Jet

I just purchased a used mathmos jet but it does not have a bulb.Can this lamp be re-wired for US current? If so,can anyone help out with some instruction and the parts that would be required?I'm really anxious to get this lamp running,I already have 2 fluidiums,both wired for the US and love these lamps. Thanks

Hello Baby.......Thanks for your reply. I have acually been a member of the site for about a year and a half.I just received the lamp on Friday,purchased it on ebay.The seller described it being slightly faded purple liquid w/pink lava but I see no evidence of the liquid ever having color.It's as clear as my two fluidiums are.Yes just replacing the original bulb would be much easier.The seller was also in the US and included the transformer in the sale so I'm OK there.I'm just not sure if I can get the correct bulbs in the US and figure that the cost of the re-wire would be much more cost effective than to pay the price for overseas shipping of replacement bulbs.

Bohdan,Dr. What............Thanks for your help.I actually already have some of the 8oz LW lamps that I purchased during Christmas of 2007.Bought them at Menards for 4 bucks each,I certainly do not have a problem scraping any of that Chinese garbage..........Thanks Again for your help Joe
