okay trevor, you butt!...it is most definatly NOT brown!!! :P lol...oh and yes thats a cordless phone (i also have corded rotary dial phone too) a but its a magic jack voice over ip internet line...not sure if that considered a land line or not...lol.

 

tim, i left it blue. the filtering didnt strip the dye out but did lighten it a bit...it looks lovely and its not brown! lol

Are you going to keep it blue / yellow or clear / yellow - a clear yellow would look really nice.

Wow it's actually yellow wax lol. I got a 52 while back it was like brownish yellow.

the cheapo ones do...or so ive heard. this one is a katadyn. its good quality and very sturdy. i cleaned it about half way through just to be sure it wouldnt clog and gave it a good flush afterwards. im confident this one will last a good long time.

I can deal with the tired arm..lol..but have heard that the pump wears out after a couple filters !
