Check out my photos - it shows a yellow-violet bottle in an orange fluidium.
It looks great, but changes almost immediately to orange once it starts to rise - but it's flow was bubbly.
I've found with the older wax it snakes more - which i prefer!
I've also found that the older wax accepts new astro liquid very nicely. Just revamped my original clear-orange to violet-orange - in all respects i cannot fault it!
One last thing - i swapped the clear-yellow with the violet from a new Astro.
It was nice but very bubbly - even with the dimmer!
What bottle is in the green fluidium? Is it an old clear-white (that's turned cream)?
Yeah that one looks sweet.. I didnt know you could get a Flodium with white base!
It's like a sunrise
i like the yellow/orange combo best :)
Thx :) I'm thinking of swapping the liquid in the off colour opal bottle to blue & possibly the yellow/clear one to yellow/violet... I've got another 4 fluidiums in the full colour range, all running too, just elsewhere in the room and all with clear liquids. That's why I'm thinking of the colour changes I mention. Bit expensive though. If Mathmos had a bottle sale this year I must have missed it :( The blue/green in the opal base & cap looks lovely in the back there though, I'd never tried that before.
