Never put over a fifteen-watt bulb in these! Theatre supply companies sell "gel" which is colored acetate, in every color and shade you can imagine. Gel can be put through a laminator to make a stiffer disk that'll stick firmly up inside the base above the bulb, or you can tape strips or segments of multiple colors together and then laminate that.
Hey it's just like mine only your glitter is better than mine!
I hope it arrives safely. My last one from France did not. Thanks for the info Jonas, as always. :)
This dark green plastic is one of the uncommon colors. Red, various shades of orange, white and black are common. Light green, maroon, brown and various shades of blue are uncommon.
They are Italian glitters - verry solovent based so the flow is verry fast.
I don't think they have a brand name as such but are rair and verry nice - good find.
I also plan on using a green screen on the bottom to get the light green. I think it will look cool!
I have two others. One from Autumn and one I bought from Bohdan that I ruined and need to fix. I don't know what these are called. To the best of my knowledge, they don't have a brand or anything like that.
