Oozing Goo - The Lava Lamp Syndicate

I was checking out the Belgium eBay and ran across this large lamp. Never saw one like this. Out of my price range and looks like it didn't sell so it's probably relisted. It's pretty sweet.

That is indeed a (probably French) glitter lamp with the glitter's silver coating 'eaten' by the solvent. I'm guessing it has big circular disks as glitter, as a few French lamps did. One could dump the liquid (take it to hazmat disposal, please, it's a chlorinated solvent!) and Goo-Kit the thing, which would be awesome. I haven't seen another like it, and I've seen a LOT of different French glitters!
