I've learned we have some chrome heads, so are there any copper heads out there?
I have a bunch of Crestworth Copper lamps I'm considering the sale of if there is any interest.

Those are some great lamps. I have many of them in both copper and chrome.
I have a few of the other rare UK based copper lamps too (the name escapes me at the moment)
So Weebo what are you selling, always on the look out for something nice...whats the name that escapes you at the moment.?????????
Yep, that's it, I knew it started with an H.

A Copper Hunter, Crestworth alternative...
Weebo, while I don't think I can afford lamps in the near future, I'd still love to know what all is up, at what prices. Could you PM me...?
Really nutso about eventually finding a nice copper Astro Mini with a nice color globe (not determined to find any specific color). Not looking for a really old one, just Mini, copper, in good shape with a good globe. Also have always been in love with the chrome Rocket (bullet cap). These two were the first Crestworths I SAW - but the Rocket was the first I *heard* about, around 1993 when I called Haggerty and they told me "There's this company in England called Crestworth Trading, Limited that makes lava lamps". They described the Rocket and said "We have one here on testing", whatever that meant.
Let me know what you've got? Wish I had something worth offering in trade.
The Hunters are cool - the lava Hunters were, AFAIK, the first lava lamps ever made in purple, and they had liquid-when-cold "oil" lava. I've got one Hunter glitter, and it's pretty, but I'm really after the copper Mini.
Let me see what I have. You mind nursing one?

I'm game, though I'm still not sure I can budget for it. Hopefully I can. I know I've got no trades to offer - I doubt there's much I have that you don't. *grin* Now, if I could only talk the owners of that Princess (wall sconce) into selling - took me 15 years to talk them into selling one of their pair. (Antique dealers - bought 'em at auction in the 70s).
Have either a Rocket or a copper Astro Mini in at least OK shape? Let me know which one/both, in what shape, colors inside and what needs work - if I can budget, I'll take what I can find! As said, these are the only two Crestworth lamps I could realistically own (wall sconce, 'princess', Regency and Lunar are right out). They'll get the best shine-up I can give - and if they need refills, I'll get Mathmos bottles to do it and get the best pro advice I can find on doing the refill. I traded my Lava Lite Astro (Consort bottle with spiral of brass around base) to another collector and he did an incredible job making it show-quality - I'd want to do the same with these.
